The beautiful riverside city of Limerick in Ireland is well worth a visit. It’s a historical city with castles, medieval fortresses, museums, parks, art galleries and markets. Fights to Limerick are served by Shannon International Airport which is situated around 18 miles north of Limerick. It’s well serviced by coach, bus and car rental options which can all be found just outside the main airport terminal. It should take about 30 minutes to get to Limerick City whichever type of transport you choose. If you take a taxi, do remember to agree a price before setting off.
