Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS):www.schiphol.nl is located 15km (9 miles) southwest of Amsterdam.
To / from the airport: There is a railway station in the terminal’s central hall; direct trains run to Amsterdam Central Station. Public buses run regularly to Amsterdam and other cities. Bus Many hotels offer a free airport shuttle service to guests. Taxi: Schiphol Travel Taxis are available from outside Schiphol Plaza (journey time into Amsterdam - 15 minutes). Taxis can be booked in advance on the airport's web site.
Facilities: banks, ATMs, bureau de change, a post office, conference and business services, wireless Internet, children's play areas, duty-free shops, a medical centre and pharmacy.
