November: Worldwide holidays unveiled on the site.

September: Cheapflights.co.uk is named as Britain's favourite travel website and sixth favourite website overall by the Good Web Guide readers' poll.

June: Number of travel advertisers on the site exceeds 250. Revamped and improved Short Breaks section launched.

April: Launch of sister site, Cheapnights.com, a comprehensive portal dedicated to global accommodation.

February: Cheapflights.co.uk moves its headquarters from Clapham, South London, to Bayswater in West London.

January: Number of unique visitors reaches a new high of 671,000, a 77 per cent increase on January 2000.
