December: Cheapflights acquires domain name www.cheapestflights.com from MyTravel USA Inc.

September: Cheapaccommodation.com is launched replacing Cheapnights.com. New features include prices displayed in three currencies as well as star ratings for properties.

July: Neilsen//Net Ratings research reveals that Cheapflights.co.uk unique users aregrowing year on year by 50 per cent. This is faster than any other major UK travel website.

June: Multiple booking engine launched with Travelselect, Opodo and British Airways as partners.

Number of advertisers on the site reach 500.

May: Cheapflights.com launched as the USA site.

Cheapflights.com opens Boston office.

April: A redesigned site is launched with separate sections for flights, holidays and short breaks.

March: Cheapnights.com destinations exceed 1,000.

February: Largest technology project to date completed allowing publication of half a million fares on 30,000 pages, refreshed several times a day.

January: Advertisers reach 450, including easyJet.

Traffic is at an all-time record: 1.33 million unique users (ABCe).
