Cheap flights & travel

Praise from the press

I use Cheap Flights (www.cheapflights.co.uk) and quite often find it lives up to its name. You begin your search by providing them with your destination. This then brings up a page listing which airports you can fly from to your chosen destination and how many deals there are at each one. You have to select the airports in turn to view the deals but, providing you open them in a new window, it’s no hardship. Cheap Flights also provides you with the tour operator or broker’s name, website and phone number.

- WebUser

A novel idea this. A site which could actually prove useful… Easy to use, comprehensive and practical, it even offers advice on questions you need
to ask the travel agents when you call up to book your flight.

The company really has thought of everything.

- Internet Magazine

From Aberdeen to Zurich, if you want to fly somewhere at a keen price, then a visit to this site is worthwhile. Clear and well thought-out.

- BBC Online Web Guide

Probably the most objective and thorough of such pages on the Net.

- The Independent

A great source for last minute deals.

- Harpers & Queen

Forget Geldof’s newer and much less useful website, and go straight to the older and more efficient travel site run by John Hatt to find the cheapest possible deal.

- Sunday Telegraph

Cheap Flights is excellent for this, carrying a huge range of destinations… Almost uniquely there is no need to register.

- Independent on Sunday

Probably the best starting point for British based travellers looking for a bargain.

- Daily Express

Before you start phoning around, search here to find out which agents are offering the best deals.

- The Mirror

A very good resource and very easy to use.

- Netuser

Probably the best page to start.

- The Guardian

This no-nonsense flight-finder will give you a list of the best deals.

- Computer Life

Gimmicks that internet designers think enliven websites – but in fact make them slow to use – cannot be found.
What Cheap Flights does, it does very well.

- Travel Trade Gazette

It does have the advantage of being easier to use than teletext.

- Sunday Express

If Rosie and Darren prefer a more online approach to researching their trip, the single best website is cheapflights.com

- Sunday Times (Holiday clinic)

Check out no-nonsense Cheap Flights … you can find the perfect price.

- Daily Telegraph

The research will take you minutes not hours.

- House & Garden

Cheap Flights has the cheapest means of getting there.

- International Herald Tribune

Absolutely the best site for getting a good deal on a flight from the UK…If you can’t find a great deal for your destination, we’ll eat our desktop plant.

- .Net Magazine

A return flight to Turkey for £49? Bonkers, but true!

- Evening Standard

This is an essential resource for anyone who has wanderlust but cannot afford the prices of high street travel agents.

- The Geographical Magazine

Plain, no-nonsense design that speeds along, with no fancy graphics to slow down access.

- The Observer

We recommend the www.cheapflights.co.uk site. As the name suggests, the site lists extremely cheap, last-minute flights to destinations all over the world.
