Since the site's relaunch in January, the fast expanding 'Cruises' section has listed specific offers from a variety of Cheapflights' travel partners including Fred Olsen. Cruise Lines, Airtours, and BA Travel Shop.
Found in the toolbar on the left hand side of the website, the popular section encompasses the gamut of value for money cruises. Itineraries include the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Alaska and the Far East, as well as more unusual options such as themed cruises and river cruises. It also offers viewers useful links - catering both for the seasoned enthusiast and the curious first-timer.
Says David Soskin, chief executive officer, Cheapflights.co.uk "Cruise holidays are proving to be a burgeoning sector of the online travel market.
These holidays are unique in offering holidaymakers the opportunity to wake up to a different horizon every day without ever having to pack their bags. Given the many itineraries, ships and styles of cruises, the Cheapflights dedicated section is the ideal tool for viewers to compare the options, and make an informed choice about which one to book. "
Soskin adds, "This growth in traffic to the 'Cruises' section of the site suggests we are meeting our target - to work with our site partners to bring every aspect of value travel to more than 800,000 unique users. The result reaffirms our position as the UK's number one neutral travel portal"
