Cheapflights appoints COO as president of Cheapflights (USA) Inc

Hugo Burge, the Chief Operating Officer of Cheapflights.co.uk Ltd , the UK's No.1 guide to travel deals, has been appointed President, Cheapflights (USA) Inc. He will be based in Cheapflights’ North American Boston HQ. Mr. Burge will continue to perform the role of Chief Operating Officer reporting to Cheapflights CEO David Soskin.

This move follows Cheapflights expansion into the US market with the recent launch of its new US website www.Cheapflights.com which already includes advertising partners such as Travelocity.com; British Airways; Alaska Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Travelnow.com (a top 10 US travel site); Cheap Seats Travel; One Travel and Discountfares. The US site has been launched with an initial 400 destinations, 200 departure points and a current total of 100,000 regularly updated deals.
