Cheapflights.co.uk today launched an updated version of their popular newsletter, featuring deals geographically targeted to subscribers. Consumers now benefit from having deals sent to them with departures from regional airports close to home. This is the latest development for the Cheapflights.co.uk newsletter, which has been providing top quality flight deals to savvy consumers since 1998.
The new ‘geographic segmentation’ facility enables advertisers to target their advertising spend more effectively, by reflecting flight availability from a geographical perspective. This has the added advantage of making the newsletter more accessible to smaller travel companies, who can purchase space in smaller segments on the Cheapflights.co.uk list, rather than from the full list of 1.1million subscribers.
Karen Plumb , director of business development says: “Cheapflights.co.uk have ambitious plans to grow the proportion of the list that we can regionally target. By building a user profile centre through data capture from exclusive competitions we expect to realise this objective in the near future.”
Cheapflights.co.uk’s newsletter is distributed on a weekly basis. Deal listings adhere to the Cheapflights mission to remain completely impartial, focussing purely on the best value holidays and promotions available to consumers, regardless of a company’s relationship with Cheapflights.co.uk. The newsletter compares similar deals alongside one another in addition to providing useful information for travellers, such as holidaying with pets or cultural tips on top destinations.
