London, September 22 2009: Cheapflights Limited, the global leader in flight price search and comparison, is proud to announce that it has been recognised as the only private UK technology company to have been featured in the prestigious Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 awards for a record six years in a row. The survey of the UK’s fastest growing private technology firms ranked Cheapflights #64 in this year’s list.
CEO Chris Cuddy said: “The fact that Cheapflights has made it into the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 for six consecutive years despite being a “mature travel dotcom” is a testament to the terrific international team that has enabled the company to sustain its remarkable growth history to date.”
The Sunday Times measures firms’ sales growth over their last three financial years and the awards “reveal how Britain’s fastest-growing private technology companies have responded as the economy slid into recession”.
Added Cuddy, “Our team’s passion for innovation to meet the changing needs of both consumers and our advertisers in our main UK and US home markets, together with international expansion, has helped us achieve our goals during tough times and put us on the path to creating a successful and sustainable global brand.”
