There’s nothing like heading up in the skies to work up an appetite. Check out the airline’s menu before you fly so you can decide if you need to bring any extras. See photographs taken by fellow flyers of meals they’ve been served and read reviews at AirlineMeals.net.
Moby Dick, War and Peace, Bleak House… Do you need to pack a weighty tome or will the in-flight magazine keep you happily occupied for the duration of the flight? Air Southwest’s magazine, Enjoy Southwest, is published quarterly. The magazine has the lowdown on everything to see and do in region, including information on hotels, cafés and tourist attractions.
In July 2011, Air Southwest announced that it will cease operations at Plymouth and Newquay airports.
The regional airline is based at Plymouth City Airport and also has hubs at Newquay Cornwall Airport and Bristol International. It flies from Plymouth to Bristol, Cork, Dublin and Glasgow among other destinations. Destinations served from Newquay Airport include Aberdeen, Leeds Bradford and Manchester. It is owned by Eastern Airways since late 2010.
Advantage is Air Southwest's flexible fare class. Passengers receive a greater luggage allowance, in-flight snacks, a dedicated Fast Track security channel and the ability to change flights without penalty.
