Headquartered at Humberside International Airport, Eastern Airways is a UK regional carrier, flying between local airports in the UK and Stavanger, Norway. Airports served include Wick, Stornoway, Cardiff, Bristol, Southampton and Norwich. In an increasingly no-frills market, the airline aims to provide an enjoyable "Eastern Experience" which, it says, is "reminiscent of the golden days of air travel". Complimentary meals are standard, private airport lounges are available, flight times are scheduled to fit in with the business day and pre-allocated seating is available.

Musical instruments can be carried in the cabin by purchasing an additional seat for that item. The instrument including its carry case must not exceed the dimensions 30 x 117 x 38cms.
