Founded in 1987, First Choice Airways is one of the UK's leading leisure airlines. It operates a fleet of 32 aircraft and has charter flights from 22 UK airports to more than 80 popular holiday destinations worldwide, including the Maldives, Mexico and resorts across the Mediterranean.
Airport check-in at least two hours prior to departure. For travellers with pre-booked seats, check-in is 90 minutes before departure.

Hand luggage: one small item per person weighing less than 5kg with maximum size of 45 x 35 x 20 cm can be carried onboard the aircraft.
Checked: 20kg free luggage allowance per person.
Excess: any item weighing more than 32kg will not be accepted. Families sharing suitcases should ensure no one piece of luggage exceeds 32kg. Excess baggage is charged at £6 per kg on short-haul flights, £7.50 on medium-haul flights and £10 per kg on long-haul flights.

Changing details carry a charge that varies depending on the amount of notice given. For holidays departing before April 30, 2009, name changes made up to 29 days prior to the flight incur a charge of £20 per person. Changes made to a passengers’ name within 28 days incur a £30 charge per person.
For holidays departing on or after May 1, 2009, name changes made up to 56 days prior to the flight incur a charge of £35 per person. Changes made to a passengers' name between 55 days and 11 days incur a £50 charge per person. No changes to passengers' names can be made within ten days of departure.
Multiple changes (to travel date, passenger names or other flying arrangements) carry just one fee provided they are made at the same time. (Please note you can only change your travel date outside of 56 days before your scheduled departure).

Child discount fares are offered and vary depending on the specific travel arrangements. For infants under two years of age on the date of their return flight, a charge of £29 (or £60 for long-haul flights) applies. Seats and In-flight meals are not provided for children under the age of two.

Standard baggage allowances apply. A separate seat can be purchased to carry a large or fragile instrument with advance approval from First Choice Airways Reservations Department by calling at least two weeks before departure.

There are complimentary meals on long-haul flights. On other flights meals can be pre-booked. FirstChoice also offers a range of snacks and drinks for purchase. On long-haul flights there is a seat-back television with on-demand films and television.
