Hawaiian Airlines, based in Honolulu, was founded in 1927 and now serves 20 destinations in the Pacific region - domestic and international. There are daily scheduled inter-island services to Lihue, Kauai; Kahului, Maui; Kona and Hilo, Hawaii, and daily code-share service to Molokai, Lanai, and West Maui with Island Air. In the South Pacific region there are scheduled services to Sydney, Australia, Manila, Philippines, Papeete, Tahiti, and Pago Pago, American Samoa.

Web check-in is available on Inter-Island and Trans Pacific (mainland) flights between 24 hours in advance and no fewer than 90 minutes prior to departure. All inter-island passengers on Hawaiian Airlines must check-in at least two hours prior to scheduled departure. Passengers should plan to check-in for trans-pacific flights between Hawaii and US mainland cities three hours prior to departures and three hours prior to departure for international flights.

Carry-on: Hawaiian Airlines allows each ticketed passenger one carry-on item with linear dimensions of no more than 115 cm (length + height + width) and weighing no more than 11kg. You may also bring a handbag, umbrella, camera, a collapsible wheelchair and/or medical equipment.
Checked: Hawaiian Airlines charge $25 each-way for the second piece of checked luggage between the Continental US and Hawaii and $17 each way for a passenger's second checked bag on Interisland flights.
Excess: charged at $25 for all excess pieces for travel within the State of Hawaii. For travel between the Continental U.S. and Hawaii or within the Continental U.S., or for travel between Hawaii and PagoPago, Sydney, and Papeete or for travel between the Continental U.S. and PagoPago, Sydney, and Papeete: $80 each for 1st to 3rd excess pieces; $105 each for 4th to 6th excess pieces; $180 each for 7th or any additional excess piece for travel between the Continental U.S. and Hawaii or within the Continental U.S. If the bag weighs more than 22kg (50lbs) but less than 32kg (70lbs), there is a $25 charge. Hawaiian Airlines will not accept any bag over 32kg (70lbs).
