Airline Overview
Mexicana de Aviacion, commonly known as Mexicana, is one of the two major airlines in Mexico. The airline began operating more than 85 years ago, which makes it one of the oldest in the world. Today, it serves more than 50 destinations in North America, Central and South America and the Caribbean from its hub at Mexico City International Airport.
For international flights, check-in is two hours before the scheduled flight departure; for domestic flights one hour.

Hand luggage: one piece is permitted, with a maximum weight of 10kg for international flights and 5kg for domestic flights.
Checked: two items each not to exceed 32kg or 158 linear cm (length + height + width).
Excess: the fee for overweight or oversized items is $100 (£50).

Except for service animals, all pets must be carried in the aircraft hold as baggage for an additional $75 (£40).
