Checked: there is no free check-in allowance. You can add hold luggage of up to 20kg, subject to a fee which varies according to destination. Passengers can combine baggage allowances provided that individual items do not exceed 30kg.
Seat pitch: 30 - 35 inches. Extra legroom can be purchased for £35 (short-haul), £60 (mid-haul) or £100 (long-haul).
Individual seats can be reserved for £12 return.
Flight changes can be made online / over the telephone up to five days before departure for a fee of £20 / £25 per sector, in addition to the applicable fare difference. Name changes / title changes can only be made over the telephone, costing £30 / £10 per sector. Amendments to scheduled flights to Canada are not permitted.
Travelling infants under two years of age do not need a seat, but are charged a fee of £20 per sector. Newborns between two days and two weeks old must have been awarded a fitness to fly certificate.
Assistance dogs are permitted to travel in the cabin on Thomas Cook flights from London Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow airports only. At least 28 days notice must be given, and restrictions apply for certain destinations.
Standard baggage allowances apply. A separate seat may be purchased to carry a large musical instrument instead of checking it in.
Backseat TV entertainment systems are available on certain routes. Passengers are also offered an on-board magazine and a children's activity pack, while in-flight meals must be purchased separately prior to departure (costing between £4.50 and £8.50).
