Jet2.com is a low-cost carrier based at Leeds Bradford and flies from eight airports around the UK and Ireland (Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Blackpool, London Gatwick, Belfast and Cork) to popular European cities including Amsterdam, Prague, Faro, Paris, Geneva, Budapest and Venice.
- Check-in times: desks open two hours before the flight and close 40 minutes before departure, or 30 minutes on domestic flights for passengers with hand luggage only. Online check-in is available on some routes between 28 days and five hours of the travel time.
- Baggage allowance: one piece of hand baggage up to 10kg (22lbs) and not bigger than 46x30x23cm. Jet2 now charges to check-in luggage. The cost is £5 if pre-booked or £10 at the airport. The baggage allowance is 20kg (44lbs). Excess baggage rates are £5 per kg. Lap infants do not receive a baggage allowance. Golf bags and ski equipment charges are £20 per flight for each item up to 20kg. There is a 25 per cent discount for pre-booking online.
- Change the passenger name or flight: name changes can only be made by calling the airline. Dates and times of flights can be changed online up to 24 hours before departure or via the call centre up to four hours before departure. The change fee is £20 per name change and per date change, per one-way flight.
- Child fares: : none. Infants under two years can travel on an adult's lap for a charge of £7. Children under the age of 14 cannot travel unaccompanied.
- Pre-assigned seating: seats allocated at check-in. For a fee you can select seats online. Standard seats cost £3 per seat per flight; extra leg-room seats on flights of less than three hours' duration cost £12.50 per seat per flight and on flights longer than three hours, extra leg-room seats cost £17.50 per seat per flight.
- Legroom: about 76cm (30in) seat pitch.
- In-flight service: : hot and cold drinks, snacks and sandwiches are available to buy on most flights. Champagne and chocolates can also be pre-ordered.
