Marrakech-Menara International Airport (RAK):marrakech.airport-authority.com is located 6km (4 miles) to the southwest of Marrakech.

To/from the airport: A shuttle bus (No. 19) runs from the airport every hour between 6am and 12:25am, and to the airport between 6am and 11:40pm. “Petit” taxis and larger taxis are available.

Facilities: Banks, ATMs, a post office, a restaurant and snack bars, duty-free shops, general shops, a medical centre and tourist information. Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz all provide car hire services.

Mohammed V International Airport (CMN):www.onda.ma (in French) is 30km (19 miles) south of the city.

To/from the airport: There are taxi services into Casablanca and train services available to Rabat.

Facilities: Outgoing duty-free shop, post office, banking and bureau de change, restaurant, bar, tourist help desk and car hire.

Murtala Muhammed Airport (LOS):www.faannigeria.org is 22km (14 miles) north of Lagos.

To/from the airport: Taxis to the city are available.

OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) (JNB)www.airports.co.za is situated in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng.

To/from the airport: The Gautrain is the easiest and fastest way to get to downtown Johannesburg. Buses and taxis round out the transport options.

Facilities: Duty-free shops, post office, car hire, bank/bureau de change, ATMs, medical clinic, conference facilities, tourist information desk, restaurant and bar.

Port Elizabeth Airport (PLZ):www.airports.co.za is 3km (2 miles) south of Port Elizabeth's CBD.

Roland Garros Airport (RUN):www.reunion.aeroport.fr The airport is situated in Sainte-Marie, 7km (3.8  miles) east of St Denis, in the north of the island.

Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) The airport is situated 11km (7 miles) southeast of Victoria on Mahe.

To/from the airport: All areas of Mahe are available by coach. Buses and taxis are available.

Facilities: Mail boxes, bank, ATMs, bureau de change, public telephones, Internet facilities and Wi-Fi Internet access in all of the International Terminal, restaurants and bars, duty-free shops. Trolleys and left-luggage facilities are available.

Sharm El Sheikh Airport (SSH):www.eac-airports.com The airport is 23km (14 miles) northeast of Sharm El Sheikh. 

To/from the airport: Buses and taxis are the modes of transport.

Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU):aml.mru.aero The airport is located 48km (26 miles) south-east of Port Louis.
