Ekaterinburg Airport (SVX):www.koltsovo.ru is located near Ekaterinburg, in the lowest part of the Ural mountains.

To/from the airport: Koltsovo Railway Station is 2km (1.25 mile) away from the airport. Bus no.1 links Koltsovo Railway Station, Koltsovo Airport and Ekaterinburg Central Railway Station. There is a taxi service to the city centre and to neighbouring cities.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL):www.klia.com.my is 55km (34 miles) south of Kuala Lumpur.

To/from the airport: Taxis and express bus service. The KLIA Express and KLIA Transit trains link the airport to Kuala Lumpur (KL Sentral).

To/from the airport: A bus goes to the city centre.

Ninoy Aquino International (MNL):www.ato.gov.ph The airport is located 7km (4 miles) south of Manila.

To/from the airport: Bus and taxi services are available to the city (journey time – up to 1 hour 30 minutes by public bus, or 25 minutes by taxi).

Facilities: Banks, post office, medical clinic, baggage deposit area, duty-free shops and car hire.

Shanghai Pudong (PVG):www.shanghaiairport.com is 30km (19 miles) from the city centre.

To/from the airport: Buses and taxis are available. Pudong is a major international airport with the Maglev magnetic levitation train and an underground link (due for expansion to connect Pudong with Hongqiao by 2009). The Maglev takes passengers to Longyang Road, where it is possible to connect to the Shanghai Metro.

Pulkovo Airport (St Petersburg) (LED):www.pulkovoairport.ru is 17km (10 miles) south of the city.

To/from the airport: Buses are available to the city centre frequently throughout the day. Taxis are also available.

Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW):www.sgairport.com is located 12km (7 miles ) north of Pendik on the Asian side and 45km (28 miles) east of the European centre of Istanbul..

To/from the airport: From Istanbul city centre take the E-6 express highway or the E-5 highway; follow signs for the airport and take the Pendik/Kurtköy exit.

Facilities: ATMs, restaurants, bars and a variety of duty-free shops. There is a baby-care room in the Departures lounge on the International Terminal.
