Schoenefeld

Berlin-Schonefeld International Airport (SXF):www.berlin-airport.de is located in the southeast of the city.

To/from the airport: The easiest way for visitors to get into the city is with the AirportExpressSchönefeld train, which runs daily every 30 minutes. The station is also served by S-Bahn trains 9 and 45, as well as some mainline and local rail services. Bus 171 connects the airport with the U7 U-Bahn line at Rudow. Taxis are available 24 hours a day.

Facilities: Restaurant, bars, florist, bank/bureau de change, ATMs, newsagents, duty-free shop and first-aid facilities. Services available 24 hours a day include left-luggage, snack bar, and hotel reservations. There are hotels located near the airport and car rental is available.

Tegel

Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL):www.berlin-airport.de is located 8km (5 miles) north west of the centre of Berlin.

To / from the airport: The most convenient and cost effective way to get to and from the airport is by bus. They connect with the subway and above-ground train stations. Taxis are readily available outside the airport terminal, they take around 20 minutes to the city centre.

Facilities: Banks, bureau de change, ATMs, a post office, business centres and baby rooms. There are several shops, including duty-free, and a selection of restaurants. Disabled facilities are good; travellers with special needs should contact their airline in advance.
