Cleveland Hopkins International is Ohio’s main aviation gateway. Based on passenger numbers, it is the 35
th busiest airport in the US. There are more than 325 daily nonstop flights to more than 85 destinations – international flights to the UK, Mexico and Canada. It is a hub for Continental Airlines.

Rail The airport is served by the city’s RTA rapid metro train service (tel: (216) 566 5100 ; website:
www.riderta.com/pd_airport.asp) on the red line, which runs every 15 minutes direct to the city centre in less than half an hour, connecting to suburban bus and rail services. The station is located on the level below baggage reclaim. Road Shuttle: Numerous hotel shuttles and door-to-door express shuttles are available (tel: (216) 898 5161 ). Bus: Lorain County Transit (LCT) operates a bus service to Elyria and Oberlin (tel: (440) 233 7868 ; website:

Short- and long-term parking (tel: (216) 898 5189) are both located within the airport grounds. These car parks are connected to the terminal building by an enclosed pedestrian bridge. The airport's on-site garages are operated by Standard Parking (tel: (216) 267 5030 ). A new credit card only Economy Shuttle Parking Lot is also available on the airport grounds, linked to the terminal by free 24-hour shuttle bus.

Money and communications: ATMs are located on the ticketing level and concourses C and D. Public telephones are situated throughout the terminal.
Eating and drinking: Facilities at the airport include fast food restaurants, coffee shops and bars, situated on the ticketing level and concourses.
Shopping: There are various shops at the airport, including a tobacconists, leather goods shop and a beauty retailer, located on the ticketing level. Gift shops and newsagents are situated on all concourses.
Luggage: A lost and found service (tel: (216) 265 6030 ) is offered.
Other facilities: White courtesy telephones are situated throughout the airport for emergencies. There is a multifaith chapel and medical assistance is available.

The airport is accessible to disabled passengers. Wheelchairs, lifts and escalators can all be found at the airport; passengers requiring special assistance should contact the airline prior to travel. Disabled parking is available. Some car hire companies can provide adapted vehicles for disabled drivers if booked in advance.
