Edinburgh Airport (EDI):www.edinburghairport.com is located 9km (nearly 6 miles) west of Edinburgh. 

To / from the airport: There's no train station, but the main stations in Edinburgh, Waverley and Haymarket, are easily accessible by bus or taxi. Buses leave from the forecourt just outside the main terminal building. Taxis depart from just outside the UK arrivals section and cost about £15 to the city centre.
