Birmingham International Airport (BHX)www.bhx.co.uk is located 10km (6 miles) southeast of Birmingham.

To / from the airport: The free Air Rail Link shuttles passengers to the Birmingham Station where passengers can catch a train to Birmingham City Centre as well as London and many other cities across the UK.Taxis can be found outside Terminal 2. All buses to and from Birmingham Airport stop between the terminals.

London City Airport (LCY):www.londoncityairport.com is 10km (6 miles) east of the City of London.

To/from the airport: Docklands Light Railway runs to the airport. Public buses leave every 10-20 minutes or so. Taxis are plentiful.

Facilities: There are shops, bars and a restaurant at City Airport, other facilities include left luggage, a mother and baby room, tourist information and business facilities including Internet and fax.

Coventry Airport (CVT):www.coventryairport.co.uk is located 6.5km (4 miles) south east of Coventry.

Nottingham East Midlands Airport (EMA):www.nottinghamema.com is located 10km (6 miles) northwest of Newcastle.

To/from the airport: The closest rail station is East Midlands Parkway, 6.4km (4 miles) from the airport. Skylink offers regular buses to Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, and Loughborough. Arrow Cars operates the official airport taxi service.

London Heathrow Airport (LHR):www.heathrowairport.com is located 24km (15 miles) west of London.

To/from the airport: The non-stop train service to London Paddington Station takes 15-20 minutes. The airport is also on the London Underground's Piccadilly Line, which can take passengers into Central London. Numerous local buses stop at the central bus station and Terminal 4. Coaches connect the airport to more than 500 destinations throughout the UK. London's licensed black cabs serve London Heathrow Airport and are available outside all the terminals.

Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA):www.lbia.co.uk is located 17km (11 miles) northwest of Leeds and 11km (7 miles) north of Bradford.

To/from the airport: Bus service operates between the airport and Leeds city centre rail and bus stations and Otley. There is also a regular bus service running daily between the airport and Bradford City Centre Transport Interchange. Taxis are available outside the airport Arrival terminal.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL):www.liverpoolairport.com The airport is located 12km (7.5 miles) south-east of Liverpool. 

To/from the airport: A shuttle bus ferries passengers to Liverpool South Parkway rail station. The 80A bus route runs every 15 minutes. Taxi fares to the city centre cost about £12.

London Luton Airport (LTN):www.london-luton.com is located 56km (35 miles) northeast of London.

To/from the airport: A shuttle bus links Luton Airport with Luton Airport Parkway Station, from where there are regular trains to central London. Bus services are extensive. Taxis are plentiful and a fare to central London will cost about £70.
