To/from the airport: The Newcastle Airport Metro station is next to the passenger terminal. Buses leave every 20 minutes during the day. Airport Taxis is the official taxi service for the airport. Average fares to the city are £20-£25.

Facilities: Shops, bars, restaurants. Other facilities include a bank, bureau de change, ATMs, left luggage, baby care rooms, and a children's play area. There is a business facility in the main terminal equipped with fax, photocopier and Internet access.

Norwich

Norwich International Airport (NWI):www.norwichairport.co.uk is 5km (3 miles) north of Norwich.

To/from the airport: There's no rail station at the airport but buses and taxis are available to take you to the station in Norwich. Buses - First Eastern Counties Bus No. 27 and a park-and-ride bus - depart at regular intervals. Taxis leave from outside the terminal.

Facilities: Bureau de change facilities and ATMs are available. There are two bars, a restaurant and a café in the main concourse and the departure lounge of the airport.

Southampton

Southampton International Airport (SOU): www.southamptonairport.com is located 7km (4 miles) northeast of Southampton.

To/from the airport: There is a 50-metre walk to the rail station and the journey time to central Southampton is eight minutes. The U1C bus service runs between the airport. Taxis are available.
