Stuttgart Airport (STR):www.stuttgart-airport.com is located 13km (8 miles) south of Stuttgart.

To/from the airport: The S2 and S3 railway lines run from Terminal 1 to the city’s central station. Buses and taxis are available.

Facilities: Duty-free shops, Wi-Fi access, restaurants/bars, bureau de change, travel agencies and a nursery and children's area.

Tallinn Airport (TLL):www.tallinn-airport.ee The airport is located 4km (2.5 miles) from the centre of Tallinn. 

To / from the airport: Buses and taxis are available. 

Facilities: Currency exchange, ATMs, post office, Internet kiosks, lost and found and storage lockers, VAT-refund counter, family play areas, baby-changing station, Wi-Fi.

Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL):www.berlin-airport.de is located 8km (5 miles) north west of the centre of Berlin.

To / from the airport: The most convenient and cost effective way to get to and from the airport is by bus. They connect with the subway and above-ground train stations. Taxis are readily available outside the airport terminal, they take around 20 minutes to the city centre.

Facilities: Banks, bureau de change, ATMs, a post office, business centres and baby rooms. There are several shops, including duty-free, and a selection of restaurants. Disabled facilities are good; travellers with special needs should contact their airline in advance.

Valencia Airport (VLC):www.aena-aeropuertos.es The airport is sited 9km (6 miles) west of Valencia. 

To/from the airport: There's a choice of two underground lines that whizz into Valencia every 15 minutes. Buses and taxis (metered) are also available. 

Facilities: Banks, ATMs, currency exchange, police station, multi-faith chapel, first-aid station, pharmacy, Internet and Wi-Fi.

Malta International (MLA) (Luqa):www.maltairport.com is located 5km (3 miles) southeast of Valletta.

To/from the airport: Buses depart regularly to and from Valletta City Gate. There is a regular service to the main bus terminal in Valletta. There is a full, 24-hour, taxi service to all parts of Malta; fares are charged at a fixed rate

Facilities: Incoming and outgoing duty-free shops, car rental, bank, bureau de change, lost luggage and restaurant/bar.

Helsinki Vantaa International Airport (HEL):www.helsinki-vantaa.fi is located about 17km (11 miles) from Helsinki city centre.

To/from the airport: Numerous buses run to and from the Helsinki city centre with regular departures. Bus travel takes about half an hour. Taxis are available at ranks outside the Arrivals hall of both domestic and international terminals.

Facilities: Banks, ATMs, restaurants, cafes, duty-free shops and three shopping areas with a variety of retail outlets. Travel agencies, pharmacy and luggage storage are also available.

Varna International Airport (VAR):www.varna-airport.com VAR is located 8km (5 miles) from Varna. 

To/from the airport: Bus No. 409 travels to Varna via the Mall of Varna and Golden Sands resort. Taxis are readily available. 

Facilities: ATMs, currency exchange, baggage wrapping, business lounge, baby-changing station, medical centre, Internet terminals and Wi-Fi.

Sofia Airport (SOF):www.sofia-airport.bg The airport is located 5km (3 miles) east of Sofia. 

To/from the airport: Buses and taxis are available. 

Facilities: Currency exchange, ATMs, lost-property office, guest lounges, Wi-Fi (free).

Zurich Airport (ZRH):www.zurich-airport.com is located 13km (8 miles) from the city.

To/from the airport: There are regular trains between the airport and Zurich’s main train station. The Glattalbahn tram (number ten) runs to Zurich railway station. The airport’s bus terminal is located in the main airport complex a floor above check-in. The taxi rank at the airport is in front of arrivals one and two. Average taxi fares to Zurich are £50.
