Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport (ATH):www.aia.gr is located 33km (20 miles) southeast of Athens.
To / from the airport: The airport is linked to Athens Central Railway Station (Larissis) and the port of Piraeus by the Suburban Rail system. Several bus routes connect the airport with Athens and Piraeus daily, 24 hours. Some connect with the metro. Taxis leave from outside the Arrivals level of the Main Terminal Building.
Facilities: banks, ATMs and bureau de change, post offices, 24-hour restaurants, snack bars, cafés, fast-food and bars. There is 24-hour shopping at the airport, including an authentic Bazaar and duty-free shopping in the International Terminal.

To/from the airport: There are regular bus services and trains that take passengers to the city centre. Taxis are available outside the airport.

EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL):www.euroairport.com is situated 8km (5 miles) northwest of Basel and 25km (15.5 miles) south of Mulhouse.
To/from the airport: BVB bus 50 runs a service to Basel on the Swiss side. Metrocars connects the airport with St Louis station, where trains connect to Mulhouse). Freiburger Reisedienst operates bus services between the airport and Freiburg in Germany. Taxi stands are located in front of the Arrivals hall, both on the French and Swiss side.
Facilities: bank, ATMs and bureau de change, Wi-Fi access, restaurant, bars and snack bars, duty-free shops, hotel information desk and Swiss Railways ticket counter in the Swiss section of the airport.

Budapest Ferihegy (BUD):www.bud-airport.hu is located 24km (15 miles) southeast of Budapest.
To/from the airport: Trains run regularly between the airport and Budapest's western railway station. The journey takes 30 minutes. Taxis are available from the airport at the taxi stand.
Facilities: Banking facilities, ATMs and a bureau de change are all available. There are various restaurants and snack bars throughout the airport.

Frankfurt Intl
Frankfurt Airport (FRA):www.frankfurt-airport.com is located 12km (8 miles) southwest of the centre of Frankfurt.
To/from the airport: Buses leave regularly for Frankfurt and other destinations from outside Terminals 1 and 2, tickets can be bought from the bus driver. Many hotels provide a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Rail connections are excellent; the airport has a station beneath Terminal 1, from which trains depart regularly to central Frankfurt, 24 hours a day. Taxis are available outside both terminals.
Facilities: Restaurants, shops, bars, cafes, banks, bureau de change, ATMs, business centre, hairdresser, chapel, children's play areas and casino. Disabled facilities are good.

Franz Josef Strauß
Munich International Airport (MUC):www.munich-airport.de is located 28km (18 miles) northeast of the city centre.
To/from the airport: Frequent commuter trains run by day and most of the night to various Munich stations, including the main stations for connections to major European cities. Taxis are available, as are buses to many regional destinations and the main train station. It takes about 20 minutes by train and about 45 minutes by road to reach the city centre.
Facilities: Restaurants and bars, duty free and other shops, shower facilities and a pharmacy. ATMs and currency exchange desks are available in Arrivals and Departures. Disabled facilities are good; passengers with special needs should contact their airline in advance.

Hamburg Airport (HAM):www.ham.airport.de is located 8km (5 miles) from Hamburg.
To/from the airport: The Airport Express runs frequent buses to the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). The TRAVELPorter Airport transfer service provides a door-to-door service within the local area. Hamburg Bus Lines service the city centre and other suburban areas. Taxis are readily available outside all terminals, they take around 30 minutes to the city centre.
Facilities: Restaurants, shops, bars and cafes throughout the airport, as well as banks, currency exchange and ATMs in Terminals 1 and 2. There is wireless Internet access in all terminals. Disabled facilities are good; passengers with special needs should contact their airline in advance.

Gatwick
London Gatwick Airport (LGW):www.gatwickairport.com is located 45km (28 miles) south of London.
To/from the airport: The Gatwick Express train runs regularly as does the Thameslink. There are more than 400 express coach service operating daily from the coach stations at both terminals. The official Gatwick Airport taxi service is provided by Checker Cars and cabs wait outside the terminal buildings, or you can reserve a cab ahead of time.
