To/from the airport: Buses leave regularly for Frankfurt and other destinations from outside Terminals 1 and 2, tickets can be bought from the bus driver. Many hotels provide a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Rail connections are excellent; the airport has a station beneath Terminal 1, from which trains depart regularly to central Frankfurt, 24 hours a day. Taxis are available outside both terminals.

Munich International Airport (MUC):www.munich-airport.de is located 28km (18 miles) northeast of the city centre.
To/from the airport: Frequent commuter trains run by day and most of the night to various Munich stations, including the main stations for connections to major European cities. Taxis are available, as are buses to many regional destinations and the main train station. It takes about 20 minutes by train and about 45 minutes by road to reach the city centre.

To/from the airport: Trains go from the airport to the central railway station and taxi stands are located at the entrance of the Arrivals terminal. To/from the airport: The easiest way for visitors to get into the city is with the AirportExpressSchönefeld train, which runs daily every 30 minutes. The station is also served by S-Bahn trains 9 and 45, as well as some mainline and local rail services. Bus 171 connects the airport with the U7 U-Bahn line at Rudow. Taxis are available 24 hours a day.
