The airport at Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is served by five airlines - Northwest Airlines and Northwest Airlink, Delta Connection, United Airlines and Allegiant Air - that fly to seven cities around the US. Also known as Joe Foss Field, after the aviator Joe Foss, the airport was originally an army air base. It became a commercial airport in the mid-1960s.

The public parking lot is located directly across from the terminal building with two entrances to the short-term area and two entrances to the long-term area. The parking lot is lighted and the parking booth is staffed 24 hours a day.

Eating and drinking: There is a restaurant on the first floor and a snack bar on the second floor, near gates 3 and 5.
