Koltsovo Airport of Ekaterinburg City is Russia's eighth-biggest airport in terms of passenger traffic, and it is the principal airport in the Urals. It was established in 1943 and became an international airport in 1993. Forty-four Russian and international carriers link Ekaterinburg to 72 cities around the Russian Federation and worldwide.

Rail: Koltsovo Railway Station is 1.25 mile (2km) away from the airport. From the station, suburban trains to Ekaterinburg Central Station depart regularly. Road: Bus: Bus no.1 links Koltsovo Railway Station, Koltsovo Airport and Ekaterinburg Central Railway Station. Services run from 6:50am-11pm.
