Goteborg-Landvetter Airport is located east of Gothenburg and serves the west of Sweden. About 80 per cent of domestic flyers and 65 per cent of international passengers are business travellers. Approximately 30 carriers – scheduled and charter – operate from the airport. More than four million passengers use the airport annually.

Road: Taxi: Taxis are available from a number of companies, including Lerums Taxi, Taxi Göteborg, Taxi Kurir, Taxigruppen and Flygtaxi
. Taxi companies often have a fixed rate fare to Gothenburg city and other destinations from the airport. Limousine: Limousines are also available from Scandinavian Limousine (tel: +46 (0)31 794 2424) by pre-booking. Bus: Airport buses serve Gothenburg and Borås. Timetables are available at Luftfarsverket Information at the airport. Public buses also run from the airport; bus no.615 runs to Landvetter via Härryda Church, while bus no.616 goes to Rävlanda via Hällingsjö and Landvetter.

There is an indoor multi-storey car park (P3), outdoor short-term car parks for both Domestic (P1 and P2) and International (P4) travellers and cheaper long-term parking (P5, P6 and P7). Visitors car parks are situated at both ends of the terminal. A manual payment desk is situated at the Luftfartsverket Information desk in the International check-in hall. Money and communications: Facilities include two ATMs, one in the International hall by the bank and the other in the Domestic hall, and a full service bank located in the International hall. There are bureaux de change at the bank and before and after security. Telephones are situated throughout the terminal.
Eating and drinking: There are restaurants and cafés in the Domestic and International halls, and a café and bars in the transit hall.
Shopping: There is a wide variety of shops at the airport, including duty free in International Arrivals and Departures (non-EU).
Luggage: Travellers can leave baggage in left luggage lockers, located in the corridor between the Domestic and International halls, for up to 24 hours; to leave luggage for longer, contact Luftfartsverkert Information (tel: +46 (0)31 941 100) in the International hall. There are also safety deposit boxes for storage of items up to 14 days. There is also a lost property service (tel: +46 (0)31 941 100). Trolleys are available free of charge throughout the airport and car parks.
Other facilities: These include indoor and outdoor children’s play areas, a car repair service, a VAT refund service and baby changing and nursing facilities. There is also a church.

The Landvetter Airport Hotel (tel: +46 (0)31 977 550), a 200m (182 yards) walk from the terminal, has 66 rooms and nine conference rooms, as well as a restaurant. Hotels located about 7 miles (11km) from the airport include the Spar Hotel Garda and the Ramada Tidbloms Hotel.

Disabled travellers should inform their travel agents in advance if they require assistance with luggage, getting to/from (and boarding) aircraft or if they have a hearing problem and require personal information. Travellers with a disabled permit are charged the cheaper parking rate in car parks P1, P2, P3 and P4; they should show their disabled permit at the payment desk when paying.

Teleservices Inform@fon allows the traveller to send faxes and send and receive e-mails. Fax facilities are also available at the information desk in the International check-in hall. The nearby Landvetter Airport Hotel (tel: +46 (0)31 977 550) has nine conference and meeting rooms accommodating up to 18 delegates, as well as equipment for hire. Videoconferencing and teleconferencing are also available; business facilities include photocopying, printing and fax.
