Getting into Town

Rail: Ronkonkoma train station is located 1.5 miles (2.5km) from the airport terminal. The Long Island Railroad (tel: +1 516 822 5477) offers frequent service between Penn Station in Manhattan (33rd Street and Seventh Avenue) and the Ronkonkoma train station, which is very close to the airport. The train ride is approximately 1 hour 25 minutes. From Ronkonkoma train station there is a taxi shuttle service to the airport terminal. The shuttle van departs the train station daily at 5.30am, and then departs every half hour from the airport from 6am until 10.30pm.
