More than 11 million passengers use Memphis International Airport each year. Six major airlines (including Northwest Airlines, which has a hub there, Delta, United, Continental, AirTran and American Airlines) provide service domestically and internationally. Memphis International Airport has three terminals and is a "Super Hub" for FedEx.

Road: Taxi: Taxis are available in front of the terminal buildings. Limousine: SFAX Limousine Service (tel: +1 662 342 0002) operates from the airport’s lower outer drive. Bus: The Memphis Area Transit Authority offers public bus services from the lower outer drive near Terminal C; bus no.32 runs to Memphis. There are also shuttle bus services to out-of-town destinations.

Short- and long-term parking is available in the multi-storey car park next to the terminal building; the first 30 minutes of parking are free. There are also three long-term surface car parks (A, B and C) behind the multi-storey car park; they have a free shuttle service to/from the airport.

Money and communications: There is a bank in the covered walkway between Concourses A and B; ATMs are located throughout the terminal.
Eating and drinking: There are many restaurants, bars, fast-food outlets, cafés and snack bars.
Shopping: Shops include an Elvis gift shop selling licensed Graceland merchandise, and various duty-free outlets.
Luggage: Lost property is handled by the Memphis Airport Authority Police, available 24 hours a day (tel: +1 901 922 8050).
Other facilities: There is a health station and AED units (defibrillators) situated throughout the airport. Baby-change facilities are available in all toilets and there is a nursery in the terminal. Children’s play areas are located on all concourses.

The Skyport Inn (tel: +1 901 345 3220) is located within the terminal building, whilst the Radisson Memphis Hotel (tel: +1 901 332 2370) is on the airport site. Other hotels in the area include Days Inn Graceland, Comfort Inn Airport, Courtyard Memphis Airport, Homestead Airport and La Quinta Memphis Airport. Many nearby hotels and motels offer a complimentary shuttle service which can be ordered via telephones in baggage reclaim. Shuttle buses leave from outside baggage reclaim.

The airport has disabled toilets, lifts and ramps. TDD telephones are situated in the main terminal and on all concourses. There is a TTY information service for hearing-impaired passengers (tel: +1 901 922 8720). All car parks have free disabled spaces available for drivers displaying disability ID. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.

The International Travel Insurance and Business Center (tel: +1 901 922 8090) in Ticket Lobby B provides fax and photocopying facilities, as well as notary and financial services including a bureau de change. The Skyport Inn (tel: +1 901 345 3220) has three meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 50 people; catering can be provided. Radisson Memphis Hotel (tel: +1 901 332 2370) also has conference and banqueting facilities.
