Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport is named after Miguel Hidalgo who started the war that liberated Mexico from Spain. It is located close to Guadalajara and is the third-busiest Mexican airport after Mexico City and Cancun. It offers domestic services and flights to the United States, Canada and Europe.

Getting into Town

Road: Taxi: Authorised taxis are available. Bus: The airport minibus (Servicio Colectivo) meets all flights outside the terminal building and takes passengers to the city centre every hour (journey time: 35 minutes). Tickets are available for purchase at the booth outside Arrivals.
