Mohammed V International Airport is located 30km (19 miles) south of Casablanca, Morocco. A major project – the renovation of T1 – is underway with completion scheduled for 2010. Royal Air Maroc, the national airline, is based at Mohammed V Airport. Almost six million passengers travelled through it in 2007.

Rail: A shuttle train service operates from the airport Arrivals hall to Casablanca port and the city centre (journey time: about 45 minutes).
Road: Taxi: Taxis are available outside Arrivals. Bus: There is a shuttle bus to Casablanca.

There is a long-/short-term car park with 1,600 spaces outside Departures and a long-/short-term car park with 880 spaces outside Arrivals.

Money and communications: There are banks with bureau de change facility, ATMs and a post office. Telephones can be found throughout the airport.
Eating and drinking: There are restaurants and cafés throughout the airport.
Shopping: There is a shopping centre in Departures and there are various duty-free shops in Arrivals and Departures.
Other facilities: An ambulance and first aid facilities are also available. There is a pharmacy on the first floor.

There are two lifts in Departures and two in Arrivals. Wheelchair transportation can also be provided between the aeroplane and Arrivals/Departures; passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.

Fax, photocopy and internet facilities are available in the small business centre in the main hall. There are no conference facilities at the airport.
