General Mariano Escobedo International Airport (MTY):www.oma.aero is 24km (15 miles) northeast of Monterrey

To/from the airport: There are no public transport options from the airport. Taxi and privately hired cars are the only two options.

Facilities: Bureau de change, ATMs, restaurants, snack bars, duty-free and gift shops.

Mexico City International Airport (Benito Juarez) (MEX):www.aicm.com.mx is located 13km (8 miles) east of the city.

To/from the airport: Buses and taxis run to the city. Underground trains are also available.

Facilities: Bank/bureau de change, bar, car hire, chemist, duty-free shops, first aid (with vaccinations for cholera and yellow fever available), left luggage, post office, restaurants, shops, snack bars, tourist information and VIP lounges.

Akron Canton Airport (CAK):www.akroncantonairport.com is 24km (15 miles) south of Akron and about the same distance north of Canton.

To / from the airport: Bus, shuttle and taxi service are available to take passengers from the airport to the city centre. All of these ground transportation options can be found in the baggage claim area or just outside on the curb.

Facilities: ATM machine, Wi-Fi Internet access, food court and snack bar.

Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ):www.cabq.gov/airport is located 6.5km southeast of Albuquerque.

To / from the airport: Bus, shuttle and taxi service are available to take passengers from the airport to the city centre. A number of long-distance, charter and tour buses are run by various companies; the airport's web site has details on all companies operating to/from the airport.

Facilities:ATMs, restaurants, bars/cocktail lounges, shoeshine stands and a barbershop.

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC):www.anchorageairport.com is situated 3km (2 miles) south of Anchorage.

To/from the airport: Buses, taxis and a shuttle service are all available outside the Arrivals hall.

Facilities: Bureau de change, ATMs, a post office and a bank. In addition, there are duty-free shops, restaurants, a lost and found and even a barber shop.

Atlantic City International (ACY):www2.sjta.com is north of Atlantic City.

To / from the airport: Passengers wishing to travel to Atlantic City and destinations throughout the region can use the SJTA TransIT Link shuttle to travel between the airport and the Pleasantville Bus Terminal. Taxis are available from the airport to Atlantic City and surrounding areas.

Facilities: ATMs, Wi-Fi, a restaurant, bar, grill and sandwich shop. Duty-free shopping and car hire.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS): www.abia.org is situated 8km (5 miles) southeast of Austin. 

To/from the airport: A Super Shuttle minibus taxi service operates from the airport, and several local taxi companies are represented. Public bus services run by Capital Metro serve the airport on a regular daily schedule. Bus journeys to downtown Austin take about 45 minutes; taxis take about 20 minutes. 

Facilities: Postal services are available at the airport, and there are several ATMs in the terminal. Shops include newsagents and a gift shop, and there are numerous restaurants and bars to choose from. The Business and Technology Centre in the East concourse offers foreign currency exchange, standard airline trip insurance and Internet access.

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI):www.bwiairport.com is located 16km (10 miles) south of Baltimore and 52km (31 miles) north of Washington DC.

To/from the airport: MTA light-rail services depart to Baltimore (journey time - approximately 25 minutes), while airport shuttles also run (journey time - 30 minutes). MARC commuter trains run between Washington, DC, and Baltimore Pennsylvania Station via the airport.

Facilities: Bank, car hire and post office.

Birmingham International Airport (BHM):www.bhamintlairport.com is 7km (4.5 miles) east of downtown Birmingham.

To / from the airport: Taxis are available during the day and the evening.

Facilities: ATMs, food court, shops and a lost and found service.
