Blue Grass Airport (LEX):www.bluegrassairport.com is located 14km (9 miles) east of Lexington, Kentucky.

To/from the airport: The airport is easily accessible from Highway-60 and is in close proximity to Blue Grass Parkway and I-75 and I-64. Car rental is available. Kentucky Sky Shuttle serves the cities of Somerset, Science Hill, Eubank, Waynesburg, Stanford and Danville. Many local hotels provide shuttle service to and from Blue Grass Airport. Taxis are available outside the baggage claim exit.

Facilities: ATMs, free Wi-Fi Internet access, post office, cafe, restaurant and bar. Shopping outlets and retail stores are located on the first and second levels.

Bob Hope Airport

Bob Hope Airport (Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport) (BUR):www.burbankairport.com is 5km (3 miles) from LA.

To / from the airport: Metrolink (Monday to Friday only), MTA Bus lines and Amtrak (see Rail) have nearby stations at Burbank and there are free connecting shuttles to/from the airport. The airport is also connected by many MTA bus lines. Taxis are readily available.

To/from the airport: A bus service runs to the Old State House in Hartford. Taxis are available.

To/from the airport: NFTA-Metro operates bus services between the airport and various places around Buffalo. The Metro Link Shuttle (bus 204) runs from the airport to downtown Buffalo. Bus 30 runs between the airport and Niagara. Bus 68 runs between the airport and the Amtrak Station in the city centre.

Facilities: ATMS, a Post Office and a bureau de change. There are various bars, restaurants, fast-food outlets and snack bars.

To/From the airport: The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Orange Line serves the southwest side of Chicago and connects the airport with downtown Chicago. Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority operates bus services between the airport and the city. Taxis and taxi vans are also available.

Facilities: ATMs, currency exchange, Wi-Fi access is available throughout Midway passenger areas, more than 20 different restaurants, cafes/bars and shops.

Chicago-O'Hare Intl

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD):www.ohare.com is situated 29km (18 miles) northwest of Chicago.

To/from the airport: Chicago Transit Authority and Metra North Central commuter trains serve different destinations. Continental Airport Express shuttle buses depart from all terminals for central Chicago and northern destinations. There is also an hourly shuttle and coach services to Midway Airport. Taxis are readily available.

Facilities: Shops and restaurants, ATMs and medical centre. Car hire is provided by Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz and National. There is a business centre in Terminal 2.
