Renamed LA/Ontario International Airport, the Californian airport is the second major international airport in the Los Angeles area (after Los Angeles International). The medium-hub airport offers more than 380 flights a day to every major city in the US and is considered a good alternative airport to Los Angeles International. In 2007, more than seven million passengers used the airport.

Road: Taxi: Taxis are available outside the baggage reclaim areas; taxis must be equipped with a metre or rate card, which is clearly visible. Bus: Omnitrans (tel: +1 800 966 6428) runs a bus service between the airport and destinations in the San Bernardino area; Foothill Transit (tel: +1 800 743 3463) runs a service to West Covina; and the Riverside Transit Authority (tel: +1 800 800 7821) operates a service to destinations in Riverside. Door-to-door shuttle services also operate from outside the baggage reclaim area of both terminals and are run by a number of companies that include Supershuttle (tel: +1 909 984 0040), California Airbus (tel: +1 909 548 0052) and Inland Express (tel: +1 909 626 6599). The service is available on a walk-up basis or by booking in advance.

There are short- and long-term car parks. Lot 2 has hourly parking with a two-hour limit and daily parking; Lot 3 is for daily parking, with cheaper rates than Lots 2 and 4; Lot 4 has hourly parking with a two-hour limit and daily parking. Lot F is a remote economy lot, with a courtesy shuttle bus service to the terminals. The first two hours of parking in the economy car park Lot F is free of charge. Money and communications: ATMs are located opposite lower level (Arrivals) entrances in both terminals, near the business centre in Departures and in the Ground Transportation Centre. Public pay telephones are located throughout both terminals. Many pay telephones allow passengers to plug in their laptop computers and to charge calls to their credit cards. Tan-coloured courtesy phones are provided in both terminals within the airport for passengers who wish to place calls within the airport; courtesy phones are situated at the public telephone banks in both Arrivals and Departures and on the concourses. Travellers can request paging Monday-Sunday 6am-9.30pm by using the courtesy telephones and dialling 0 for the operator.
Eating and drinking: Restaurants, cafés and bars are also located in both terminals.
Shopping: There are a number of shops in both terminals. Shops include a sunglasses shop, bookshop, gift shop, sweet shop, newsagents and music shop.
Luggage: Baggage reclaim is on the ground floor in both terminals. A Skycap porter service, trolley hire and lockers are available in both terminals. Lost property is handled by the Airport Police (tel: +1 909 937 2700), with a lost property office located on 1070 South Vineyard Avenue, at the Airport Command Center.

There are numerous major hotels located near the airport. The Best Western Ontario Airport (tel: +1 909 937 6800), Comfort Inn Ontario Airport (tel: +1 909 937 2999), Hilton Ontario Airport (tel: +1 909 980 0400), Ontario Airport Marriott (tel: +1 909 975 5000) and Sheraton Ontario Airport (tel: +1 909 937 8000) are located close to the airport and all provide a courtesy shuttle service to/from the airport. Transportation to major hotels can be arranged by using courtesy telephones located next to the ground transportation boards in the baggage reclaim areas of both terminals.

Disabled parking is available in Lot 2, Lot 4 and Lot F. Disabled toilets are available in both terminals. Wheelchairs and assistance are available through airline representatives at each airline counter. TDDs are provided on several public payphones. Standard TDD keyboard signs are displayed where payphones with TDD capability are located. The courtesy airport shuttle between the terminals and the long-term car park Lot F is wheelchair-accessible.

ONT Business Centres are located on the upper levels of both terminals; they provide fax facilities, telephones, modem access, stamp machines and travel insurance services.
