Located close to the city of Rochester, Minnesota, Rochester International Airport has flights from nine airlines including Air Canada, AirTran Airways, American Airlines, Continental and JetBlue. The airport was originally founded in 1928 by the Mayo Foundation in an attempt to help patients from remote locations reach the Mayo Clinic.

Eating and drinking: Meals are available from airport campus restaurants located both inside and outside the terminal building.

Shopping: A shop sells gift items, newspapers, magazines and snacks.

Other facilities: A Mayo Clinic (tel: +1 507 287 8084) representative is available for medical and health assistance for passengers. Skycaps are also available to meet every flight and provide wheelchair and baggage assistance.
