Like Amsterdam Schiphol, Rotterdam is controlled by the Schiphol Group. It is a growing airport close to the Port of Rotterdam and within reach of The Hague and Brussels. Airlines based there serve cities such as London and Rome as well as popular holiday destinations including Faro, Nice, Palma and Alicante.

Road: Taxi: The taxi rank is located in front of Arrivals. Bus: Bus no.33 operates to/from Rotterdam Central Station (journey time: 20 minutes). The airport bus station is located in front of the terminal building. Rotterdam Airport Shuttle operates to/from Amsterdam Central Station (journey time: 70 minutes), The Hague Central Station (journey time: 45 minutes) and Delft (journey time: 20 minutes).
The airport has three car parks: P1 (long-term) can be found to the left of the terminal building, P2 (short-term) is in front of the terminal and P3 (long-term) is located to the right of the terminal building. All car parks are within walking distance of the terminal.
The information desk (tel: +31 (0)10 446 3444) is located in the transit hall. Services include a fax service within the Netherlands, flight and public transport information, tourist information and hotel reservations.
Money and communications: There is a 24-hour bank in the transit hall, where passengers can use ATMs.Eating and drinking: The airport has a self-service buffet/bar, a panoramic restaurant and bar.Shopping: The Rotterdam Airport Shop, located in the Departures lounge, offers an extensive selection of products; duty-free is available.Luggage: There are left-luggage lockers in the transit hall.Other facilities: There is a fully-equipped baby lounge and travel agencies.
The Golden Tulip Rotterdam Airport Hotel (tel: +31 (0)10 462 5566; website: www.airporthotel.nl) is within walking distance of the terminal building, although there is a free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. Nearby hotels include the Hilton Rotterdam (tel: +31 (0)10 710 8000) and the Ibis Rotterdam Vlaardingen (tel: +31 (0)10 460 2050). Information about these and other hotels in Rotterdam or The Hague can be obtained through the Rotterdam Tourist Board (VVV) (tel: +31 (0)10 402 3200) or the information and help desk in the transit hall.
The majority of airport facilities are easily accessible. The restaurant and promenade on the mezzanine are accessible by lift. The airport has automatic doors, lowered kerbs, disabled toilets and lifts. Wheelchairs are available on request for use at the airport. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and any special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.
The airport has a conference room (tel: +31 (0)10 446 3444) for a maximum of 30 people which is open 24 hours a day. The Golden Tulip Rotterdam Airport Hotel (tel: +31 (0)10 462 5566; website: www.airporthotel.nl) also provides 11 rooms for meetings and conferences, accommodating up to 1,000 delegates. A wireless internet service is also available in the terminal. The KLM Jet Center (FBO) (tel: +31 (0)10 298 4949; e-mail: rotterdamops@jetcenter.nl; website: www.jetcenter.nl) provides VIP facilities for those travelling with private or hired aircraft. The Rotterdam Airport Lounge is available to travellers with a special entry ticket from their airline and Priority Pass holders; entry tickets can also be purchased.
