Tallinn Airport’s official name is Lennart Meri Tallinn International. It’s the largest airport in Estonia, serving more than 1.3 million international and domestic passengers every year. Although it’s small, it has a reputation for being efficient and modern, with all the diversions you could want, ranging from sushi restaurants to free Wi-Fi.
Direct flights to Tallinn Airport are available from a few major airports, including London, Prague, Frankfurt, Oslo and Copenhagen. Other destinations are available seasonally, such as Barcelona, Paris, Madrid and Corfu. Connections in Estonia are rare, so most people who fly to Tallinn are there to enjoy the Old Town, or experience the beauty of the Baltic Coast and Estonian countryside.

Train: There is no train or subway service to Tallinn Airport.
Bus: There is a public bus stop located in front of the Arrivals Terminal. Bus No. 2 goes to downtown Tallinn, stopping next to Viru Keskus at A. Laikmaa Street every 20-30 minutes on weekdays. You can buy tickets for EEK 10 (about £0.50) from the R-Kiosk or from the bus driver. There is also a brand-new airport bus operated by Hansabuss. Bus No. 90K goes direct to the city centre every half hour from 8am to 6pm for about EEK 17 (about £0.90), and offers free Wi-Fi. The ride into the city takes 20-30 minutes.
Taxi: There is a taxi rank on the upper level of the Arrivals Terminal. A typical taxi fare into the city is about EEK 150 (£8). Tipping is not expected, but the driver may round up to the next bill so be specific about how much change you want back.

There are three separate parking areas at Tallinn: Parking lot A is for short-term and pick-up/drop-off stops, and the first 15 minutes are free. After that the price is EEK 31 (£1.65) per hour and EEK 156 (£8) per day. Lot A3 is small and closest to the terminal, but it should be avoided unless you’re picking someone up or dropping them off, as it costs EEK 93 (almost £5) for one hour and adds EEK 31 for each 15 minutes beyond that. Lot A2 is for long-term parking. Located a little further from the terminal, it costs EEK 156 (£8) for the first day and EEK 47 (£2.50) for each additional day. All car parks accept cash and credit cards.

Money and communications: Currency exchange, ATMs, post office, Internet kiosks.
Luggage: A luggage-wrapping service, lost and found and storage lockers (up to 45cm x 60cm x 90cm in size available for EEK 16 per day) (about £0.85).
Conference and business: The Linda Lounge for Business-Class passengers provides office equipment like a fax and printer, computer terminals and Wi-Fi. Economy passengers can also use the lounge for a fee of EEK 475 (£25).
Other facilities: Travel agencies, a VAT-refund counter, VIP services, smoking areas, family play areas, and a baby-changing station.
Wi-Fi: There is free Wi-Fi throughout the airport.
