Dayton International Airport in Ohio has a long association with aviation starting with the Wright Brothers who built their first aircraft in the city. Ten major air carriers including United and American fly to 20 domestic markets and offer connecting service to more than 100 domestic and foreign cities.

The short-term parking lot is located immediately in front of the terminal building. The long term lot has over 1,400 spaces, all within easy walking distance of the terminal. There is an economy lot as well. Shuttle shelters are located throughout the lot, and a courtesy shuttle is available to and from the terminal, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Valet parking is also available at the front of the terminal.

Money and communications: An ATM is located near the information desk in the terminal building. Free Internet access is available in concourses B and C.
Eating and drinking: There are several places serving food at the airport.
Shopping: Gift shops and a book shop are available at the airport.

Other facilities: A barber shop and a shoe shine service are available.

Dayton Airport Hotel and Conference Center (tel: +1 937 898 1000) is located less than a mile from the airport terminal and offers a courtesy shuttle. Holiday Inn (tel: +1 937 832 1234) and Vandalia Travelodge Dayton Airport (tel: +1 937 898 8321) also offer shuttle services to the airport. Skycaps provide wheelchair service on request. Companion assisted restrooms are available as well. TDD terminals are located at the phone board near the information centre and in the police office. Lifts in the terminal provide access to all levels of the airport and parking spaces for disabled visitors are available in every car park.

There are two business centres at the airport, available exclusively to Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce member companies and to any travellers who are club members of a major airline and/or military personnel. The centres provide telephone and free wireless internet services.
