Check with your doctor before travelling to some of Argentina’s northern areas, yellow fever, cholera and malaria can occur there. It’s smart to get vaccinated against Hepatitis A before your trip. The water is safe and there are good medical facilities in major towns and cities. Treatment can be pricey, so you would be wise to carry medical insurance. If you have a medical condition, be sure to bring enough medication for the entire trip.
