New Zealand is not a tipping culture and there are no service charges added to bills. If you receive good service in a restaurant, 5-10 per cent of the bill is an acceptable tip.

There are no health risks in New Zealand. New Zealand has a reciprocal health agreement with the UK, which means that a British citizen is eligible for treatment (medical, hospital and related) on the same basis as a New Zealander.
