Peak season:

Santorini is a paradise practically all year-round, although you’ll notice a big influx of tourists during the summer months of June to August, sometimes edging into September. There are many museums scattered around the island which each offer a slice of history about this wonderful place. You’ll struggle to find cheap flights to Santorini during the summer, so make sure you plan ahead to save money on your flight tickets. March to May and September to November can also be wonderful times to visit, but there will be less crowds and less predictable weather. The spring of March to May sees temperatures begin to warm up but with more chance of rain, whereas the autumn offers warm temperatures slowly reducing but with less rain. There are also archeological sites to visit, infamous nightlife and idyllic beaches leaving you able to relax, party and unwind.

Off season:

You’ll usually find the cheapest flights to Santorini from late November through to mid-February as the winter takes hold of the island. While temperatures might not drop by much, it won’t be beach weather and some attractions and restaurants might be closed during the winter. The benefit is you’ll save money on your accommodation and flight tickets.
