Stanley Park

Stanley Park covers 1,000 acres and is one of the largest urban parks in North America. Water surrounds the park on three sides on a peninsula in Vancouver’s densely populated West End. A dense rainforest fills the park’s centre with wide gravel paths cut through to Beaver Lake and Lost Lagoon. You can walk, jog, bike or skate around the park’s seawall or search for some of the hundreds of migratory birds or large populations of raccoons, squirrels, skunks and coyotes.
