Cheapflights does not sell tickets but we work with more than 500 agents, operators and airlines in our mission to be the No. 1 guide to travel deals.
Here is a brief guide to the main features of the site:

|
Finding a Cheap Flight: There are two ways to find a flight on Cheapflights:
|
| 1. Compare flight prices to your destination. | | a. | Use the search boxes or click on the first letter of your destination on the A-Z toolbar at the top of the page. You will then need to select your preferred departure point(s) from a menu that appears on the next page. | | b. | Browse the range of prices displayed by different advertisers, which include scheduled flights, charter flights and low cost airlines. | | c. | Select the fares that catch your eye, contact the advertiser to find out more and book. Shop around, as no one company can ever always have the cheapest deals. |
|
Pros: You can immediately see the range of prices to your destination. Find out who has the cheapest fares from a number of advertisers.
Cons: Shopping around requires some legwork. Some companies only offer telephone bookings, so you are restricted to buying tickets during office hours.
|
| 2. Search by date with an online booking engine in association with third party travel companies, including British Airways and Lastminute.com |
| a. |
Click on ‘Search flights by date’. |
| b. | Enter your requirements for flights by time, date and availability. | | c. |
Choose one of the travel company search engines on the right to run your search. |
| d. |
Select the fare that catches your eye and book online (or by phone during office hours). |
|
Pros: Research timetables, check availability or book online at any time of day or night.
Cons: Online booking engines have very good fares but are unlikely to always have the cheapest ones. Each search engine has different strengths so you will do best to compare the prices given by all three before making a purchase.
These two methods are both useful in finding the most suitable flight and tracking down the best deal. |
