Ski holiday enthusiasts who want to hit the slopes in a child-free environment do not need to look any further than the “Adult Only” weeks on offer through Boutique chalet specialists The Alpine Club. (Featured image is by The Alpine Club)

“Adult only” weeks are available on January 6, 13, and 20, or February 3 and March 10 and are priced from £945 per person. Holidays can be booked via thealpineclub.co.uk.

This includes seven nights of luxury accommodation, breakfast and afternoon tea daily, canapés and sumptuous five-course dinners over six days; wine pairing, Wi-Fi, chauffeured mini bus and local taxis, but excludes all travel.

The Alpine Club’s boutique chalets are situated exclusively in the picturesque village resort of St Martin de Belleville in France, offering direct and easy access to the 600km of piste in the Three Valleys network, without the crowds at resorts such as Meribel, Val Thorens and Courchevel.

Commenting on the “Adult Only” weeks, which were introduced in response to guest requests, Helen Raemers, the company director, said even parents want some time away from the kids sometimes.

“A number of our guests don’t want to share a chalet with children. It’s not that they are against children, indeed many have children, it’s just that they welcome a respite from time to time,” she said.

“After a day of skiing through the endless terrain of the Three Valleys, guests can simply relax by the fire and share the highlights of the day with likeminded guests whilst their personal chef prepares food to die for in guaranteed peace and quiet!”

A range of activities are also available on the resort, including cross-country skiing, dog sleigh rides and a host of more adventurous activities from skidoo rides to para-skiing.

Recent research from the Ski Club of Great Britain and Snowsport England revealed that France remains the number one country for winter sports enthusiasts to visit, with a large number of high altitude resorts proving to be a constant draw.
