Air New Zealand always come up with the best ideas for their in-flight safety videos.

Remember the Middle Earth safety briefing? And the one with several All Blacks rugby players?

 

 

And that discotastic one with Richard Simmons?

 

 

The latest video, which has been rolled out across Air New Zealand’s fleet stars top adventurer Bear Grylls.

Filmed in a remote part of the Routeburn Track near Fiordland on the South Island, the adventurer is assisted by Ruud Kleinpaste (the Kiwi entomologist, also known as The Bug Man) and three young scouts as he contends with native creatures such as a Kea, a Tuatara, native glow worms and the Moa (its extinct status doesn’t stand in the way of it featuring in the video).
