If a case of the summer blues is threatening to put a cloud over your enjoyment of the autumnal season, now is the perfect time to plan your next getaway abroad.

SAS Airlines have announced a super sale on thousands of flights to regions including Scandinavia and Asia, giving travellers the chance to bag a bargain flight before the booking deadline of 28 September.

Valid for travel between 22 October 2012 and 31 May 2013 the range of low cost flights on offer is sure to appeal to globe trotters and weekend breakers alike.

Scandinavia

Scandinavia has innumerable charms offering holidaymakers the perfect combination of stylish cities and mile upon mile of stunning, natural landscapes.

 

 

Head to Sweden’s thriving capital of Stockholm to marvel at the historic Old Town (Gamla stan), filled with cobbled streets, hidden alleyways and faded mustard and rust coloured town houses. One way flights start from £73 (Heathrow), £66 (Manchester) and £81 (Birmingham).

Head to Norway’s capital, Oslo, to see the spectacle that is the Northern Lights up close, with the best time to view them starting from September 21 and ending on March 21. One way flights start from £77 (Heathrow) and £66 (Manchester).

Asia
