Forget about the Jubilee, for families there is only one thing on their mind. Half term is fast approaching, providing the perfect opportunity to grab some family fun in the sun.

Outdoor holiday specialist Keycamp is giving families the chance to enjoy a seven-day accommodation-only holiday to France for a budget-friendly £210 per group.

Groups will stay at the family camp of Cala Gogo, in St Cyprien, where they can take part in a wide range of activities, from tennis and volleyball to cycling and basketball.

Families can also spend the day soaking up the sun on the sandy beach that can be directly accessed from the complex, or choose to do a few laps in the pool.

If you’re are keen to venture further afield, the town of Perpignan and the Mont Tauch Wine Visitor Centre are just a short distance away. Just half a mile from the parc, families can keep the little ones busy for hours on end at the Aqualand waterpark.

Seven nights in a two-bedroom Villanova mobile home in Cala Gogo, from 2 June, will cost £210 per party, sleeping up to four adults and two children. This price is for accommodation only.

Another half-term offer from Keycamp is a seven-night stay at the Le Ruisseau resort in Biarritz. Families can enjoy a whole host of activities at this surfers’ paradise, including football, tennis, basketball and fishing. The parc also runs a number of children’s activities to ensure the whole family is kept entertained.

Biarritz is lined with sandy beaches and hosts a number of international festivals, Basque fiestas, art exhibitions, trade fairs, surfing competitions, golf tournaments and much more.

The area also enjoys a mild climate, making it the perfect year-round destination. Nature lovers will enjoy the La Pinède des Singes, where monkeys can be seen roaming freely in the forest.

Prices for a seven-night stay at Le Ruisseau, from 2 June, start from £244 per family, accommodation only.
