With the Olympics fast becoming a fond but distant memory, many of us are finally heading off on that well-earned summer holiday.

Summer seems to have finally arrived in Britain, with the hottest day of the year so far recorded over the weekend. But that’s not going to stop us getting even more sun in some far-flung destination.

It is the same for our favourite celebs, with the rich and famous jetting off around the world for one of their many holidays. So, where have they been this week?

Celebrities feature in our latest top 10 too – celebrity-owned hotels… That’d be Bono, Jim Kerr, Liz Hurley, Benny from Abba and many more!

V Festival

It wasn’t all play and no work for some celebs this weekend, as some of the biggest names in music flocked to Staffordshire and Essex for the V Festival extravaganza.

V Festival has always been unashamedly commercial, but that doesn’t stop prestigious acts playing each year. Some of this year’s highlights included US rockers The Killers, while music legends The Stone Roses blew the adoring crowds away.

But it’s not just musicians who flock to V Festival; model-turned-actress Kelly Brook was soaking up the atmosphere backstage along with Caroline Flack and Nick Grimshaw.

Las Vegas

Sin City regularly attracts celebrities from around the world, drawn by its lavish hotels and ‘anything-goes’ attitude. But Vegas took on a slightly classier feel this weekend with the arrival of a Royal.

Prince Harry swapped Royal duties for swimming shorts and cocktails, as he relaxed with friends at the MGM Grand hotel on the Vegas strip.

X Factor

One of the biggest shows on TV kicked off again this weekend, with Gary, Tulisa (pictured here at V Festival), Louis and new judge Nicole Scherzinger judging the talent.

The show’s signature apocalyptic music, delusional wannabes and manufactured drama were all there, but the ratings were not.

With 2.7 million fewer viewers than last year’s opening episode, it was the worst start to an X Factor series since 2006.
